My Musical Odyssey
An important feature of the Borg Symphony is that it is made up of members who have been assimilated. Evey show is different because the line up has expanded its capabilities with new assimilations who bring new experience and skills to the performances.
In addition to a very precise backing track made by the founding members we always have supplemental musical Ambassadors from other cultures who have willingly been assimilated into the group. Each one is chosen for a special skill, (not necessarily musical) and they blend into the overall piece always staying within a set of pre-determined cues established by the sound and the visuals.
This gives the collective room for improvisation without getting out of control – the last thing that Cyborgs need! Each of the assimilated members wears at the minimum a mask and the more adventurous ones a full Borg costume.
